Well, it all started back in the 50's when my dad got a scholarship to Vanderbilt. He got it in Football. If it wasn't for Vandy, he more than likely would not have attended college. Anyway, he got married to a gal from the North and they finally settled in Nashville. They had 7 kids. I came along in June of1968 as the one in the middle and have been a rabid fan ever since. Oh yea, My name is Brian Davie. I was there in 82, in the rain when we beat ut. What a great day it was. I really wish we had more daysdays like that but, oh well. My dad and older brother are season ticket holders.Dad goes to every game and goes to Spring practice. He and I drove up to Knoxville for my first game at Neyland in 97. As you all know we lost but we gave em a good scare. I live up here in New York now and let me tell you all, Vandymania has really beengreat for me. I feel like I'm really in touch with the team and I'm getting to know the regular posters. I even flew to Nashville just to watchthe UK game. I was really depressed for a while after that one. It is very hard to be a Vanderbilt fan sometimes but I don't care, I love this team andalways will. I can't stand bandwagon fans. Thanks to all the Vandymaniacs, Don, and Karen for this site. What would I do without ya'll! GO VANDY!!!bio mainbio main
