I have been a die-hard fan since I came to Vandy in 1994. While I was at VU I served as a student athletic trainer from early 1995 until I graduated in 1998. I worked directly with football, women's and men's tennis, men's soccer, track and cross-country. I had the good fortune to know many of the athletes and coaches personally and have some inside understanding of how the department runs (or how it did when I was there). I have subsequently moved on and am now enrolled at the UT Health Sciences Center in Memphis, where I am working on my degree in medicine. I maintain an obsessive interest in VU athletics, though I seldom get to attend games now.
