My name is Jessica. I was born and raised in Nashville and am a proud member of the staff at Vanderbilt. I started work at Vanderbilt in 1991 and immediately began attending home games. Bought my first season tickets in 1992 and have been there since. I love being at Vanderbilt and detest everything about that school to the east. I hate the color orange, won't eat or drink anything orange and harass everyone at Vanderbilt that dares to wear that color. I am known around campus by many members of the staff as that lady that hates UT and orange. They even dig the carrots out of my lunch at Rand dining hall because everyone up there knows I won't eat them. LOL!!
I am not a football guru, just love the game and my Commodores! I have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know some of our players through my position at Vandy and they all know that I will be there cheering them on regardless of the opponent or outcome. Now that my children are older and indepedent, I have free time to travel to games and have joined up with the "Spirited Commodores" to take the fan bus to some of the away games. Vanderbilt football has given me many years of pleasure and pain, but I will be back next year as the eternal optimist, with my big mouth trying to carry on my own personal traditions. Hope to see and meet many of my fellow Vandymaniacs, in the years to come. GO DORES!!!
