A couple (of the many) things I've always liked about Corbs:
1) He doesn't rush injured players back into action until they're genuinely ready
2) His focus is always on May/June, i.e., be at your best in the postseason
Holding Futrell out in late April to ensure he's in peak health for the playoffs fits both of these tendencies.
