Said on the radio call it looked like he let it get away from him. Espy was set up low/outside.

Yep, pretty much right down the middle a little above belt high. Like I told Levonia, good hitters punish mistakes...dude punished a mistake.

In the last 2 games our hitting with men on base has been poor.

These guys are a few adjustments away from being a decent offense. The problem is Baxter sucks. They are freaking clueless against off speed stuff because they swing out of their shoes on every pitch except for J Davis. Its like they just guess and hack away. No plan no approach.

Lately (the last 15 games or so), it seems as if Espy's throws to 2nd have been drifting well away from the bag down the line toward 1B. I wonder what's up with that? I'm surprised teams haven't been stealing more on Vandy this year.

I think we are a middle-of-the-pack SEC team this season. We'll get in the NCAA tournament but probably not be a host of any kind. We do have a couple of series coming up that we should have a good shot at winning.
