Why is getting college baseball scores so difficult?

In this day of getting information anywhere immediately at the touch of your fingertips, getting college baseball in game scores is a real hassle.

I use the CBS Sports app for instant scores on NFL games, MLB games, NHL games amd college football and basketball games.

But for some stupid reason it doesn’t have an option for college baseball. Why?

So the website to go to is D1baseball.

But you have to click on the hamburger menu at the top of the screen and choose “Scores.” They don’t show them on the home page.

But the website often has issues. Sometimes it glitches and doesn’t work at all. Sometimes the scores shown are way behind the actual live scores. For instance today I clicked on it and it showed Vanderbilt 2, Florida 1. But at the same time I was listening to the radio broadcast it’s Florida 4, Vanderbilt 2. It takes about 3-4 minutes to update the score on the website. It’s not instantaneous like CBS Sports app is.

I do like you can pull up the simulcast and see what happens each pitch but it’s slow and doesn’t happen in real time, there’s a delay of several seconds.

Get the ESPN app (free) or go to ESPN.com and go to college sports. Scores are almost live.

If you get ESPN+ on your Roku (or whatever streaming platform you got to replace cable), the games are on there to watch.

They also had like 50 Preds hockey games on there this season even if you live in another part of the country.

That's how I saw all those mid-major basketball coaching candidates this season including our new hoops coach.

And for the 2 or 3 people on here still in love with bryce drew, lots of GCU games on there.
