Dores finish runnerup in SEC Golf Championship

Lost to Auburn 3-2 in match play. Gordon Sargent lost to his opponent and that ended any hopes.
Maybe the NCAA’s will be a little kinder this year, although Auburn may be the team to beat.

You have to like your chances with Sargent going against a Freshman, but couldn’t get it done. It will be good to go into the NCAA tourney without having a big target on our backs. It’s a real crapshoot in the NCAA and a team can get hot or another team choke and we are ranked No. 2, so, at least, we have a shot!
